ELIZABETH & DOUG ENGAGED!

Another one of my engagements from the fall... Elizabeth and Doug
We took these photos around Jericho Beach.. and boy was it raining! We knew in advance that the weather would be dreary but we had no idea that the skies would open up to that extent!
By the end we were all cold and soaked.. but E & D were all smiles. They joked about how their engagement shoot would be an "Ode to Vancouver", the city they both love to call home: so, we went with it, and embraced the dark wet Vancouver afternoon.

Elizabeth and Doug are getting married this July :)

NEW AD AND POSTCARD DESIGN

I held off on designing my new promotional stuff until after shooting M & C's wedding last Saturday... I just knew I would get some amazing stuff!

More images from this wedding are coming soon... :)

KATRINA & JAMIE'S ENGAGEMENT!

Since I just recently began blogging, some of my engagement sessions from this season are missing out on having their own blog entry... So I'm going to begin adding posts from the past with some of my favourite images of client's whose weddings are still upcoming :)

To begin, here is Katrina and Jamie!
Katrina is such a fun bride to work with- I'm pretty sure she loves weddings almost as much as I do! She is super organized, has impeccable taste and is single-handedly planning her entire wedding. And she isn't even stressed out! In fact, she seems to be having the time of her life... Last time we met for a chat, she introduced me to "The Book": an enormous album stuffed full of photos, ideas, samples and inspiration for what I know will be a truly gorgeous event.

So stay tuned for images from their wedding this June. Meanwhile, here's my faves from their fall engagement.

JENNE & ANDREW: MARRIED MAY 16TH

After getting to know these two at their 3-hour engagement shoot, I was really excited to attend their wedding... Not only are they the friendliest people on the planet, they have a contagious care-free attitude that makes photographing them effortless.

And as if my job couldn't get any easier, one of my favourite wedding planners, Aileen from La Vie Douce planned the day for J & M. So of course, everything went off without a hitch. I'm looking forward to working with Aileen on a few more weddings this summer :)

Jenne changed from her traditional white gown, to a bright pink "princess" dress and then again into a traditional Korean "Han-bok". She was beautiful in all three, and my absolute favourite part of the day was when Andrew saw her posing for me on the lawn and gasped. I turned to him and said "that's your wife!" and all he could do was nod.
